Just another time killing thread to have some fun with during the long summer months when hated rivals are still playing basketball while we contemplate trading every member of our tem to add to the team and make it better without trading away too much.

So here's how this works. The point is to make a statement telling everybody your opinion on something, it can be anything, while incorporating some weird obscure fact describing  that something. The fact doesn't even have to be a verified fact, just an obscure, strange way of describing that something.

Here's some examples:

Fergie has the ugliest(superlative) face(something) on a beautiful, prolific spelling in a song, former singer in a multiracial performance group(obscure description) ever.

LeBron had the largest(superlative) salivary gland growth(something) never to be caused by performance enhancing drugs on an athlete with a gigantic head who has a Greek hero's physique and a face that makes him appear old enough to be Bill Cosby's grandfather(obscure description).

In Chicago, Paul Pierce(something) became the best(superlative)basketball player  to ever play center for an extended period in an, as of that time, still undecided game even though he doesn't play center and is ridiculously too small to play center in Celtic history(obscure description).

The point is to be informative and maybe, funny and/or entertaining while giving us an opinion you have on something. Heck it can be anything. Feel free not to use the colors or parentheses like I did, as that was just for demonstration purposes. All I ask is that you follow a few rules:

1.) Do not make opinions that are insulting or inflaming to anyone at Celticsblog or on our team. Funny opinions that insult other people and/or other teams is not only allowed, but encouraged.

2.) Do not make opinions who's sole purpose is to call out others.

3.) Stray away from giving an opinion on political, religious, or controversial subjects, people or issues unless it is complimentary or constructive as this will only cause problems.

4.) Obey all the laws of Celticsblog while doing this.

5.) In responding to another's opinion, do so by quoting from that opinion and only that opinion and all responses of opinions must have a quote attached so that people can tell the difference between an opinion and a response. When possible respond using more superlative obscures. Please see the next three posts for how to respond to and not respond to someone else's opinion.

This is the best way to post a response about an opinion while adhering to the rules of the thread even though the response to the opinion isn't really an obscure description but just a response.

Don't do this which is responding to a response.

celticmaestro has the biggest thing she's ever seen, and she's seen a few from her time at the surf shop in Alaska.

Is that about right?
