Sadly, I bet Magic fans need that article to look 'intelligent.' It sickens me when a bunch of fair weather, badwagon jumping fans get a shot at the title. Magic fans embody everything that is wrong with sports.
In fairness... how many Cavs fans could have been called hardcore prior to drafting Lebron? From what I've seen, the city has always supported the Browns, but the Cavs fanbase wasn't anywhere near as healthy.
For instance, look at 2003, the year before Lebron:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/attendance?year=200329th out of 29, playing to 56% of capacity. The year after drafting him, the Cavs jumped to 9th, and progressively, as high as third. The Cavaliers averaged 20,010 fans per home game this season, as compared to 11,496 the year before Lebron. I don't want to call you out, but weren't Cavs fans the very definition of "fair weather, badwagon jumping fans"?
