This would be a horrible trade for the Celtics unless KG is in much worse shape than the Celtics are letting on.

Also, the Celtics are a very defensive oriented team and Nash does not play defense

Agreed.  Why would the Celtics break up their starting five after they recently won a championship and only didn't win it this year because KG was hurt?  Makes no sense.  This is a rumor from the Phoenix side, nothing more.

If you can get the right package for Ray you do it. Young talent signed to longer term deals could both enhance and extend our window of contention.

But it has to be a very good deal.
