One of my favorites:

CLE - Lebron & Gibson
LAC - Kaman, Gordon, Thornton, Jordan & Blake Griffin

Cleveland might lose Lebron for nothing next off season, so at least this deal completely restocks thier team with very good young players at every position. Plus, after Wallace, Pavlovic & Ilgauskus expire they will be about $15 million under the cap.
"All I have to know is, he's my coach, and I follow his lead. He didn't have to say anything in here this week. We all knew what we had to do. He's a big part of our family, and we're like his extended family. And we did what good families do when one of their own is affected." - Teddy Bruschi

Maybe Kwame Brown, Jarvis Crittenton and two first round picks?

I think they could get just about anything they want for James.
“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

The Philippines.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

How about:

Cleveland sends LeBron James to the Lakers

Los Angeles sends Andrew Bynum, Trevor Ariza(sign and trade) and Luke Walton plus draft picks.

I would think CLEV would demand Odom's expiring contract as well as buss's daughter for 48 hours.

I think Bynum has a poison pill protection and wasn't sure what that meant regarding incoming and outgoing salary. But Bynum and Ariza would go straight into the starting line up with Walton coming off the bench. A starting five of

Bynum
Ariza
PF signed by MLE
West
Williams

isn't horrible to start rebuilding around. Also they could let AV, Ilgauskas, and Wallace expire/retire and then still go after someone big in 2010 like Bosh for the PF slot.

If in 2010 they are starting Bynum at 23, Ariza at 25, Bosh ans West at 27 and Williams at 28 plus have Walton, Hickson, Gibson, and others on the bench. That's not a bad team at all. especially if Bynum develops along the lines that some feel he will.

Phil might have something to say about that!  ;)

The man would get the two best players in the world on the same team, i think he would tell her to suck it up and do the deal  ;D

All kidding aside, i think its an interesting topic. what can you get for the best player in the league when he's 23 with no character issues?

I think it's a great topic too.  Of all the off season trade talks this one actually interests me.  The thing of it is, is that in my opinion, Cleveland can not get enough for Lebron, because Lebron is one of a kind.

That being said, if it becomes clear that he will not resign with Cleveland -- and that would have to be crystal clear to the fans of Cleveland -- then Cleveland would have to hope to get the best possible offer, but it wouldn't really be enough.

Brandon Roy, Greg Oden, Rudy Fernandez, Jerryd Bayless, Travis Outlaw and two future first round picks.

Portland would still have James, Aldridge, Przybilla, Webster, Blake, Outlaw as their top six players. Better team than last year's squad.

A 12 for 1 deal from the Kings?

Wouldn't be enough.

Any team that gets James needs two characteristics - a chance to win and a big enough market.

Gibson, Davis, James, Randolph, Camby and the slew of free agents sure to follow would be pretty formidable. Plus, they are in LA...

...and for selfish reasons, I would love to see every interview with Kobe asking him how it feels to share the same arena with the best player in the world.
