and think about.........

Remembering those who have fallen in the line of duty to protect our country is neither a Republican nor a Democratic thing to do; it's not a conservative nor a liberal thing to do; it's not a religious nor a non-religious thing to do; remembering those who have fallen in the line of duty to protect our country is simply the human thing to do.
sometimes you have to bite your lip, exhale and move on.  So, I have.

I give a minute of silence and salute to our brothers in arms every morning. I have an uncle in the armed forces. My dad was in Vietnam. They are deserving of our eternal respect.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

TP SSV!  We definitely need to remember those who have given their lives so that we can be free.  Saying a prayer for our military that God will watch over them wherever they are.  Thank you for the reminder.

"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Thank you SSV and TP. This is a tough hoiday for me because so many think of BBQs and drinking and partying and all I can think of is my cousin and good friend that died a few years back in Iraq. To so many in this country that are survivors of the greatest heroes this country has ever seen(is their anything more heroic than giving one's life in public duty or in defense of one's country), this is a holiday of tears and memories and of youth given so others may grow old.

RIP Brian and Norm. I miss you both!

very important thread here for others to take the time to remember

I'm not American, but, as you said, remembering those who have fallen is the "human thing to do". I would implore everyone to indeed take 30 seconds to remember and pay homage to those who make the greatest sacrifices for a greater good.

I'm not American but I live in a continent where many American soldiers gave their lives for the causes of Liberty and Freedom, as they still do today in other parts of the world. Thanks and keep up the good work; these fine men are always in my prayers.
