The Bucks would very probably do this. I'm not a fan of Jefferson by any means, so I'd probably pass, especially considering we'd be eating an awful lot of salary. Why Gadzuric? He's a terrible player in a terrible contract. No way I'd sign this deal if Gadzuric is there.

I'd rather Take Michael Redd and Joe Alexander.

RJ and Pierce are pretty much the same player. I don't think it will mesh that well. Redd well get and make the shots Ray Allen would have left. Alexander would be a good backup to both Pierce and Redd.

Redd is probably closer to Pierce than Jefferson - in the sense he likes to have the ball in his hands to create his shot.

Alexander is just a terrible player. No way he'd be a good backup.

I think Milwaukee would jump at this trade.

I don't like it for Boston though. RJ's game has dropped off over the last couple years as he's gotten more obsessed with jacking shots, and slacked off on the boards + defense. So, I wouldn't trade Ray straight up for RJ. Then add the Gadzuric contract, which is terrible, and my unhappiness jumps another level. I also think RJ is a poor fit because of mediocre jump shot, which makes Rondo's jumper a bigger issue, so his fit makes me uncomfortable even further.

I'm unsure about Michael Redd. 60-40 against a Redd-Ray swap, but I do have some interest in that type of trade.

How about Kevin Martin for Ray? That I'd do.

Kevin Martin, Kenny Thomas, and Beno Udrih for Ray and Tony Allen works.

Beno has a massive contract but otherwise that trade would be great for us...but even the Kings aren't that stupid.

Why would you want them both?

Same reason you'd want either.

Clear no to this trade for me. Jefferson is a good player, but he is overpaid. And it is unclear whether he will be a better fit then Ray. Then you add Gadzuric whose contact is aweful and Bell has a pretty bad contract too. So we get 3 overpaid players and it is unclear whether we even upgrade our team. The Bucks have to throw in the 10th pick for the Celtics to consider it IMO.

As a Celtics fan in Milwaukee, you know what I find funny? It isn't giving up Jefferson that would kill this deal for the Bucks; they'd hang up over Bell OR Gadzuric. Believe it or not, to the Bucks they'd need a better offer to give up either of those two, let alone both. Around here, Gadz is seen as the ultimate insurance policy for the oft-injured Bogut (and, frankly, I don't think he's as bad as everyone claims he is; when I've watched him play in person, he's seemed like a poor man's Perkins), and Bell is the starting PG and the heart and soul of the team. Seriously; they build media campaigns around Bell here. There's even talk about not even bidding on Ramon Sessions so they can keep Bell, because "who needs them both?"

(I know, I know. It's weird to me too.)

Nice to know im not the only one here from wi.
Even if this would be a good thing for us, I dont think as human beings we would want this for ray unless we want to give him a good reason to retire.
Back to wanting Joe fired.
