A good, long cry followed by a group hug?

I´ve heard this pic has tradition on CB:

That's Redz with his back to the camera.

That´s what working out and eating healthy does for you. eh?
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Focus on my boys soccer teams.  Hopefully their teams win the championships.

Here's to the re-signing of Steph, the signing of Sheed, and hopefully the signing of a capable wing player.

See you all next season,

-the King
God bless and good night!

Stick around and see how the offseason plays out.
I really hope Ainge keeps Eddie and Marbury on top of the obvious keepers...
Thanks for a great season guys - it's been a lot of fun.

Should have an interesting offseason to chat about.  Even though our role in the draft will probably be minimal that's still always a fun time.

We have the Sox season to turn to for our sports fix.  They have a very good club and should have another good year.

The Pats are gonna be here before you know it as well.  Hopefully Tom Brady and KG will both come back and be healthy.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Summer league. Good to see what we have in the youngsters and hopefully bring in some help at the 3-5 positions. Backup point would be nice too. Need Size at all positions.

Questions: Mikki, Eddie, Starbury, TA, Pruitt?

Enjoy the rest of the playoffs and the offseason. The offseason will be a lot of fun for the Celtics, to see how they build up that bench.

The off-season round here is always fun. The key is too ignore the trades that fly around and just have a giggle.

As for the Draft this year, when is it going to start? If it's August/September like last year I'll have to give it a miss.

What else is there? TP pageant I remember, but I'm sure there was something else.

I'll be cheering for the Magic vs the Cavs and the Nuggets vs the Lakers.  I will be rooting for anyone but the Lakers to win the championship. Jackson just CAN'T pass Red on the Championships won list.

I'd love to see a Nuggets/Magic finals.  Take that David Stern!!!

Beyond the playoffs, I'll be watching what Danny does this off season.  We need a legit back up center, a defensive wing (Could Walker be it?) and a back up PG (will Marbury come back?).  Danny needs to decide what to do with Tony and Scal (both expiring contracts).  Then there is the draft. Can Danny buy a steal somewhere in there?    And there are free agents to be had.  We will be in the Orlando Summer League.  Will be watching to see what Walker, Giddens, and Pruitt do there.

Finally I will be watching for news of the surgeries and rehab that will come as a result of the injuries this season. Doc hinted at 4 players possibly needing surgery.  Now we will find out.

I am hoping to get back to doing the links soon also.  My daughter had cancer surgery and so I have been caring for my 2 year old grandson and her as well and with doctor appts etc haven't had the 3 hours a day to devote to it.  Hoping things get back to normal so I can keep everyone up to date on all that is going on in Celticsland over the off season.

  • Basketball is like chess, only without the dice
The rest of the NBA playoffs, the ACB playoffs, the Greek, Portuguese, French, Italian and Russian League PO Finals, then the NBA draft, the FA market, the Summer League (Boston will have a team in the Orlando one), the Eurobasket... lots of basketball to follow.
