Starters:
Rajon Rondo
Ray Allen
Paul Pierce
Glen Davis
Kendrick Perkins
(BBD doesn't play with the same intensity off the bench, and Scal is a perfect fit in the 2nd unit because he'll bring that intensity just by stepping out there at home, plus his three point shooting can really spread the floor for Steph's driving and mid-range game.)
Off. Strategy
-Runs set plays to get Ray open mid-range looks
-Rondo crash the defensive boards and turn for the break, even if he's by himself take it to the hole.
-Marbury needs to drive while Scal and House are standing on the wings, that'll spread the court very nicely
-Scal is shooting almost 50% from 3PT range, fire away Scalathreenie.
-Pierce and BBD can't sulk after missing shots or not getting calls because in game 6 they were talking to officials or moping instead of playing defense... and they're guarding two of The Magic's best scorers.
DEF. Strategy
-Perk 1on1 with Dwight give him nothing easy
-If D12 gets the ball right under the hoop and your a big man (i hate to say it) you gotta just give it to him so do your work on ball denial and pushing him out of the circle
-If Superman gets the ball right under the hoop in a switch, and your not a big man...KILL HIM. I'll take him shooting FT's all night in a Boston Garden Game 7.
-I don't care if Hedo hasn't his a single shot in the game, if he's coming off a pick you gotta fight through it. He's their creator down the stretch so keep him off his game ALL NIGHT.
