So, yeah, at this point it's over, I guess.  Too bad.  I would have preferred the Celts to play like Game 7 against Atlanta, rather than Game 7 against Indiana.  Ugh.

This wasn't quite as bad as Game 7 vs Indy...there, I found a positive spin

Positive spin:  thus far, nobody has suffered a major injury in the game.

That's all I've got.  I can't even say that collectively, the team played hard.  Unquestionably, they didn't play smart.

The effort is suspect in my book too, no question on the intelligent play tonight.

at this point i would like to give some love to Celticsblog, and appologize to CoachBo and Celticinorlando for my sarcasm. TP's for you.

some class right there by TA, no need for the Billy Walker jam right there, we'll see plenty of him next year.

I repeat the positive spin:

So, *that's* what it's like to lose a playoff series.  It's been a long time.

This is what they get for not finishing game 6, they had em, let em back in, and then this game happened.

Oh well, I was taking the whole playoffs with a grain of salt since the KG injury, but this still sucks. Just really sucks knowing that if KG was healthy the Celts would have won it in 5.

Ray Allen: classy guy.
That's about the only other positive spin.

It doesn't need to be said but I will anyways.  Ray Allen is a class act.  Good to see Paul staying out there and shaking all the hands too.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."
