Will you be satisfied with the season if we lose game 7?

Regardless of what happens, this team has improved a lot by playing through all of this bad luck.  With a real NBA bench, I'd say the C's have a 100 percent chance at winning the title next season, no matter what happens.

I think that at least 3 Celtics who played tonight are hurt and wouldn't be playing if this were the regular season.  They don't have a consistent bench, there's no size save for Perk and to me they have not played well for the majority of this series.  Yet here we are, 3-3 with Game 7 at home and a chance to advance to the Conference Final.

They have gone as far as they're going to go, win or lose and in fact look like a team that's reached the end of the line. They're not beating Cleveland unless the Cavs suffer a major injury. 

So as much as I would like to see the C's win, I won't be too disappointed with a loss.  It will have been a great season.

But I still think they're going to win Game 7.

I had come to peace with not winning a title this year by the time I heard the words "locking up" and "Garnett's knee" in the same sentence. So at this point I see this as borrowed time. In all honesty, Ive enjoyed these first two series a lot more than last year's first two series. There is less pressure, fewer expectations, etc.

And I got to say, so far I am very impressed with the team, 7 game series aside. I mean, if I told any of you after we won the title that we would be without KG, Brown, Posey and Powe, while really only adding Marbury, how many would have predicted we'd still be here? If I told any of you that Scal would be our top reserve in minutes played, how many of you would realistically believe we would still be here?

In fact, this season so far has made me a lot more optimistic about the future. Rondo is so far ahead of where I thought he would be, BBD has improved so much over the season, that I think we have just extended our window for championships by another 2 seasons.

Of course, I really want to beat Orlando, and I think I'd cry if we knocked off Lebron. But, realistically, we've gone beyond what I thought we would achieve this season.

I'm happy with the season because the guys have played with heart.  I don't agree with Tony and Mikki sitting as much as they do, because having them play gives everybody who is playing fresher legs.  Tony got more minutes in last year's playoffs when we were a deeper team and we won. 5th year on the team Doc should go with him more.  I'm not going to read any posts telling me these guys can't play. It was pretty obvious to me that Mikki won us Game 4, and Star won us Game 5, Tony could have won us Game 6 but not if he just sits on the bench. Anybody who thinks Orlando can't beat Cleveland is delusional. Orlando crushed them at home both games, and barely lost to them in Cle because of a bogus 3 second late game call. They only had Jameer in the first game. Without Jameer they had them demolished up 41 in the 3rd. How can anyone say they don't have a chance when last time they played Magic were up 41 points in the 3rd, that is crazy. Sure Magic do not play well in pressure situations, and what is Cleveland, a team that has never even won a finals game, exactly, so why would they get a pass in clutch situations. All you have to do is run on Cleveland, shoot quick and get some fast breaks, they are not good at running, they are only good in half court.  Either way Celtics are World Champs(again)#18

I won't be satisfied, but after all of our health problem this year I would be looking forward to next year with even more anticipation.  However, I do not believe we are finished with this year yet!  Go Celts!  Keep surprising everyone!

i'll be disappointed, but within a few days realize that we overachieved significantly this postseason. teams who lose their best player usually don't advance very far, ewing theory aside (and patrick did hinder the style that most of that team played). kg is absolutely critical to both our offense and defense. without him, without powe, with rondo on 2 bad ankles, with pierce and ray dead tired from playing way too many minutes, with a starting 4 that's 6'7, with perk's shoulder acting up again...i mean, honestly, that we're here right now is incredible. the bulls were the better team in round 1, but we beat them. the magic are the better team right now, but we might beat them. doc is right, this team is a bunch of grinders, and we're getting more out of less than anyone right now. i think we'll all remember this postseason pretty favorably in the future, no matter what happens in game 7. this is one of the great gritty celtics teams.

No not really. I'll be questioning Danny Ainge for his personnel decisions. This team will need to make major changes to add to the main core. This will have to be accomplished through trades and FA signings.

Well, obviously, so will I. Ainge and Wyc severely handicapped this team in the off-season.

But, there'll be hope that they realize how they failed and they'll correct that this summer by adding useful veterans instead of assembling a bench full of prospects - and suspects.

It'll be a given, unfortunately, that Powe won't be available to be counted on due to the severity of his injury. And the doubts surrounding Garnett will be ever-present.

So, I view the season as a qualified success given the handicaps, real and self-inflicted. And I'll look forward, hopefully, to a more competent off-season from management.
