With not having KG for the final third of the season, going seven games with Chicago, and now going seven games with Orlando...

God forbid, we lose game 7 (which lets face it, is entirely possible) will you consider this season to be a success?

I know I know..."this season isn't a success unless you win a championship"

But you gotta look at it from this current team's perspective and be realistic here.  No KG, No Leon.  A putrid bench.

Some people would say it's a miracle we even got out of the first round.  For me personally, I will consider this season a success if we make it to the eastern conference finals.  We SHOULD beat this Orlando team.  Doesn't mean it will happen but we should.  If we lose Sunday, I will not be satisfied with this season.

I am however one of those people that feels if we make it to the next round, the Cavs are gonna wipe the floor with us.  So I'm not expecting much.

So anyway, just as long as we make it to the ECF, I'll be happy with our season.

It originally was that we make it to the second round and I'll be ok, but with the way this series has gone, I've changed my tune.  ECF or bust.

If we lose to this Orlando team -- which we are better than, even without KG and Powe -- I will be disappointed.

they have played as hard as they can IMO...i think the experience they have gained with KG will help them next season...win or lose i am proud of them...but i can honestly say i am exhausted by the past few months with them...get healthy....fix the bench please

Yes, I'll be happy with the season. The team played valiantly without KG and did a great job.

Overall I will be satisfied, given the loss of KG, but I actually think that Chicago is a better team than Orlando and believe we should beat them. However, way too many minutes plus no KG means every win is difficult. It seems without KG they have lost some toughness -- not heart and will, but toughness. And that matters in the playoffs.

I've felt like we've been playing with house money all series.  It'll hurt if we can't close the deal on Sunday, but either way I'm proud of what this team's done against the adversity we've faced.

I don't think you can be satisfied ending on a loss but I wouldn't be extremely dissapointed because honestly without homecourt with 2 key players and being extremely tired it would be tough to beat Cleveland and I hate to say it but if they lose it is a few less games on their tired legs when they can make another run at a championship next year.

Yeah.  At this point, we've shown that we ought to be able to beat this team, and if we don't, I will be disappointed.

It would feel a lot better if we beat this Magic team, but yes, I am more than satisfied, I am thankful and proud.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

ofcourse, i'd be bummed but i thought before this series that we'd be kinda doin' our job just to beat chicago. i thought orlando was gonna take us in 6. i'm extremely proud of this team. i don't expect most of boston to appreciate this team but i know most everyone on celticsblog does. i mean come on. scal is playing major minutes. SCAL! he's been great, too. but he's our 3rd string power forward!

I can never be happy with losing

but I disagree in a way - I know the c's can and should beat the Magic, but I also think if the c's went through the season without KG the Magic would be a better team standings wise - would this c's team be a 5 seed even? I'm not sure really - it'd be close - but the Magic would be the 2 essentially imo with no KG on this celtics team...
