The crazy thing about KG is that he probably wasn't talking to anyone in particular, just talking, bantering, trashing because it is who he is and how he deals with emotions.
Celtics fan for life.

My read on it was that he was doing the walking man on his palm, and mouthing the word "we wore you down" i.e. that they had nothing left to finish the game...

My guess, Lindsey Hunter, I can picture the two of them trashtalking all night.

As in Lindsey Hunter of the Chicago Bulls?

I saw KG do this gesture once or twice after Rondo made big plays in the Chicago series - this time he did it after Rondo chased down the board and threw it off Howard.

I think this is him miming running quickly around the court, and is his way of telling Rondo "use your speed! You're the fastest guy out there". Just my 2 cents.

It's not a phone.  It's someone walking.

A) Who is he talking to?
B) What is he trying to say?

I also thought it had something to do with walking (possibly "walk away" or "walk home" or something to that affect)? Thoughts?

  • The good ole days.
I've heard it means something along the lines of "Get walking back home because we're taking this one".

KG was saying to the Orlando players "keep walking that way" as in back towards their bench. He was doing this when the C's got stops as in your not getting anything down this end, walk back to yours.

anyone see PP talkin trash to Van Gundy and his assistant coach during a play where he inbounds it. Van Gundy didn't look happy, and neither did Pierce. looked like smack to me.

They were just messing around. No one was talking trash.

How do you know that?  Looked like they were ribbing each other and talking trash to me too...

I've always interpreted that gesture as a way of saying, "Hear those footsteps?"

KG always seems to make it whenever we're on a run and closing the gap.

Agreed. They seemed to be joking around with each other. Something to the effect of:

SVG: Hey Paul, how much you paying these refs exactly?

PP: You kidding me? We haven't had a call ALL POSTSEASON man.

SVG: So more or less than 50K/game/ref?

PP: Just sit back and enjoy the show Ron

I gotta say, still looks like "you guys are (bleeping) worn down," which is what I saw during the game also...
