It's not a phone.  It's someone walking.

A) Who is he talking to?
B) What is he trying to say?

Pretty sure he was telling the Magic that we were walking them down.  In other words, that the Cs were catching up to them and soon to pass them.  "Walking someone down" is often used on the track, when a fast runner is about to overtake a slower one we'd say "he's walking him down!".

****.  This was one of my favorite parts of the game.  I'm pretty sure KG was doing it the whole game, b/c every time they would show the celtic bench, he had his little hand walking and was mouthing to the orlando bench.  I just wonder who his trash talking is directed at over there.  There has to be some vet who is having an epic trash talking battle with him.

KG used this hand gesture to let the Orlando bench know the C's were creeping up on them.

So, this means KG is coming back for the ECF or not? Where's a certified Garnettologist when you need one?

Yes, it's Garnett signaling "I'm coming back and my legs are good."

Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

he was doing it when they had turnovers so i think he was telling them to go ahead and walk back down to the defensive side of the court.
"Sam Cassell was heckling on the sideline when I walked down, He looked at me and was like, ‘You're getting the ball, I know you're getting the ball!'
said Allen.

And did Cassell, a man of many words, have anything to say after that?

"No, I told him he needed to wear a tie."

I thought it was him telling Rondo or whoever to keep cool and walk the ball up the court and stay under control since the game was within reach at that point and we were making a major run...or something like step by step or baby steps towards a comeback...i dunno lol it was funny either way
Let’s go Celtics!!

Alston seemed to be doing his fare share- other than that, not really sure anyone.

No, no, it was DEFINATELY directed at the bench, unless he's talking smack to someone in the row behind the bench or trying to order a corn dog from the stands.  He's definately looking, nay, staring with a smug grin nodding, while walking his hands.  OMG, please, someone make a gif of it.  pleeeeeaaaaassssseeeee!

Wait, even furthermore.  How fricking great would it be if they made it into a looping video that they played at the garden on the overhead screen when the celts were making a run.  ****    DO ET!!!

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
anyone see PP talkin trash to Van Gundy and his assistant coach during a play where he inbounds it. Van Gundy didn't look happy, and neither did Pierce. looked like smack to me.

I thought KG was telling to Magic to walk back down to their side of the court, since due to Rondo it was now the Celtics ball so keep on walking.
