i don't wanna hear 1 more person say that Marbury's tenure with the Celtics has been a failure, because he just did EXACTLY what we signed him to do. He came in when we were in an offensive drought, gave the team the boost they needed, and propelled the team to a win IN THE PLAYOFFS. That's why we signed him, all we needed was for him to do that ONCE for the signing to be a success.

Kind of like Sam last year. I didn't really want him and didn't like the way he played at all but he earned every bit of time and money they spent on him in one of the first 2 Cavs games (can't remember which off the top of my head). Of course, he was later replaced as a backup by Eddie because he sucked, but that win he was a major contributor in still mattered.

Someone should make a highlight film of Steph from this game with this song... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVS3WNt7yRU

Clearly these SICK rhymes are the way to go.....

BTW, 'livin la vida, without the loca' has to be the worst line of all time, right?

I could see Glen Davis spoofing this video.

sorry if someone said this already, but i dont feel like reading 3 pages right now, but my man michael holley guaranteed that steph would steal a game in the playoffs for us.

now we cant credit steph with stealing the game, but he most certainly kept hope alive.  I have always felt that if we can keep him next year at the minimum,,,he we'll be a steal
Looking for a Sig designer....obviously i will be greatful with tps.

Looking for a Wire - Rondo theme....PM with ideas and I'll tp

I think Marbury should have stayed in with the starters.
I think he can take his man to the hole and pop floaters over Howard on a consistent basis.

I vote definitely. Hope was dead. It was a frustrating night, so many missed shots, and with the light touch officiating the game was just flying by.

Then Steph's break through lit up the crowd and resurrected the team. He changed the whole building and all of a sudden it was like everyone remembered it was the 4th quarter in the Garden in the playoffs. Without him the game just slips by and the Magic cruise to 10+ point win, or any come back comes up short.

We haven't seen his best *yet* but he was the main soldier off the bench to trade blows with the magic offense. Helluva good show put on by Marbury.

i agree completely.
Great showing by Steph and i hope this is a harbinger of things to come.
Hopefully, Steph gets that sweet shooting stroke and become the scoring weapon (at least 10 odd pts) that we hoped for when we signed him.

So true, all is said and done here!

I expect Marbury to have this kind of game but I must admit I didn't expect it in THIS game with the way the things were going. I was thinking "Marbury is huge but unfortunately the Celtics can't get a stop after each made bucket!".

Thank you Marbury, you saved us last night. Gotta love his postgame comments and attitude when Pierce was giving him credit, he nodded everytime with humility. I hope the Celtics keep him next season.

I couldn't be happier for Steph. He performed marvellously and kept us within an ear-shot of Orlando. Well done to him.
