Paul: Steph provided the spark. C's got a lot hungrier down the stretch.

Paul speeks better than he tweeters. There's a reporter for the Globe named Bimbo. No joke.

also, this just came back into my mind

KG standing up, doing the two fingers walking on his hands; classic taunt - if nothing else KG brings creativity to his trash talk/hand talk =)

Stan better be writing out that $25,000 check right about now.

In his defense, the refs were awful both ways. It just so happened that they were awful for his team when they started going bad. But he can't complain considering all the over the back no calls, moving screen no calls, and that beautiful 4 step Howard travel in the first quarter.

Back atcha, Nick. He had all the help in the world from the whistles in the first three quarters.

Can I please get a TP for watching this game instead of studying for tomorrow's final exam?

Worth it.

Can I get a TP for holding my breath for 22 seconds underwater, its really impressive

Uhhh how 'bout two? One for being a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline., and another for having lungs. Unfortunately I can only give you one. Here ya go.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

So I asked it before the game ended.....does Marbury get game ball?

I think so. His offense allowed Doc to rest the starters and forced Van Gundy into keeping some of his starters in so that they could counter the offensive push. Then in the last five minutes, the Celtics were just a fresher, more rested bunch.

BTW, to Doc, I was wrong....you didn't leave the starters out too long. It was a brilliant gamble that paid off, aided of course by 12 4th quarter points by Marbury.

Absolutely he does. We don't win this game without Steph.

Really gutty riding the bench that long by Doc, probably about 90 seconds longer than I would have but by golly, it worked. We were fresh, rested and hungry.

Fourth quarter masterpiece by Doc.

Marbury was great tonight.  He still passed up some open shots but he seemed comfortable knocking down the long range 2.  He definitely deserves the game ball.  TP nickagneta
