if Perk gets suspended (which I think he will) and we lose the series, we cant pin it on that play. In this game, we showed for about half of the 4th quarter how well we can play against this team if EVERYONE applies themselves on both ends of the floor. The problem is we only did it for half a quarter. It sounds funny saying this after a 20pt blowout, but this was a winnable game, and if we would have played with the effort we should have and won, Perks suspension wouldnt be as huge.
BTW. Just because Perk wasnt looking doesnt make it unintentional. Perk set a screen, knowing a Magic player would be there, and he chose to stick the point of his elbow out there instead of his arm. If you think about it, if Perk was gonna throw an elbow he should have looked to see where it was gonna hit, especially given all the suspensions for elbows so far in the playoffs. But Hey, we all do stuff in the heat of battle sometimes that we regret, but rules are clear.
