perk gets suspended then the series is over....not whining...not being negative...being a realist....i love the celtics as much as the next guy on this board but i know they are on borrowed time and have no room for errors...the perk elbow was a HUGE swing...i actually think boston will play well in game 4 with perk...but without him....very tough...we blow them out...they blow us out....

Agree 100 percent, and based on what I saw, it is going to be tough for Jackson to not suspend him. He is suspended and the series is over. If he plays, C's still in it.

Absolutely NO IMPACT. It is going to end up 20-30 point loss. Celtics made an effort for about 6 or 7 minutes tonight. Again -- Celts played like absolute CRAP and lost the game on their own. They should be ashamed of their lack of effort and interest.
With 4 minutes garbage time, the score is pretty much irrelevant.

Plus, the two things (Celtics playing like crap, and the referees controlling the flow of the game in favor of Orlando) are not mutually exclusive.

Can't believe Walker missed that dunk! That would have made my night!  :'(

I thought he was a lottery pick if not for the knee problems? His knees look fine to me. Give him some run. Rashard Lewis isn't that much bigger than him at the 4.

Looks like the C's just ran out of steam. Paul whenever you want to wake up and start playing we can move on beyond this mediocre team, until then get used to this.

But at least we got home court!

(sorry, just had to throw that in there)

I'm sorry you aren't watching the game, but Pierce has been our best player tonight.

In fact, he's having a much better first two series than he had last season.

Since after the break. At one point, he was 2-10, IIRC.

And why so?

Again, huh? He wa 2-10, what do you mean with "why"?
He didn`t hit several wide open shots,
I would agree with vinnie. House was our best player when on the court.

Several wide open shots? Which ones, can you be more precise? What I saw was him being doubled frequently whenever he got the ball.

And he scored 27 points in 15 shots. You may add 6 assists, 3 rebounds and 3 steals. If this is not a good game, what is it?

So, who was our best player then?

Tony Allen.  Tied for best +/- (he had a +/- of -1 along with Marbury, Walker and Pruitt) but Allen added 3 points, 1 rebound and only had 1 foul.

Great job Tony!!  :D
Celtics fan for life.

In the first half, many of Pierce's jump shots were wide open and he missed most of them

Goodnight friends, I've a nightclub with my name at the door (OK, that's pretty rare these days, so I have to take advantage!).  Let's all take a deep breath, do something with our weekends and come back together for the next game to cheer on our team.  Go Celtics!

It is not an accident that the Celtics played their best basketball in the Orlando series with Pierce on the bench. And this doesn't have much to do with him missing shots.

When your starters come out and play lack luster defense this is the type of game you're asking for....

...pure ass whooping.

When we play the way we played tonight, we rightfully should be humiliated like this.

I feel like the Rafer Alston thing made them drop their guard.

Please let the Rockets beat the Lakers ass, I need something to ease the pain.
It won't take away the pain, but a good Lakers ass kicking always seems to make me feel a little better.

It's funny how much the hostility increases in these threads whenever there is a blowout, can't wait to forget this game and watch the C's win on Sunday.

Pretty pathetic effort tonight, just have to play 48 minutes, can not take quarters off in the playoffs, and must match intensities. Hopefully Perk wont be suspended, but expect SVG to be lobbying and crying non stop for him to be suspended. I really don't like him.

Sunday's game comes down to the review of Perkins' foul. I do not feel good about it. That was a forearm shiver to the throat of Pietrus. He is going to get suspended.

Isn't walker like 6' 4" 6' 5"? Lewis is 6' "10.. Walker should not see the court in this playoffs

How many exactly? Can people be more precise? All the 3 of them?

No, I can not be more precise. Several shots in the first half.
What I said is what I saw.
Even if he was tripled, 2-10 is a number you can`t argue.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.
