Where is Eddie?

EDIT: nvm  ;D
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Let's rest the starters for Game 4. Although Rondo is getting some good practice dribbling tonight by standing at the stop of the key for 15 seconds each possession.

  • Let's Go Celtics
Wow I don't care if we're undermanned, or playing like crap, but they're just not showing any heart or hustle out there.  This is completely unacceptable for a playoff game.

Time to watch the Bruins, the Celtics don't deserve to have people watching or cheering for them right now.  Hopefully they'll show up for Game 4.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

I'm not trying to be negative here but we are not going to win this game if we just stand around like we are doing right now.
Let's go C's!!!

Random thought Dwight Howard really isn't that good, he's just really tall and strong.

I was thinking the same thing earlier.  Makes me laugh to think that Charles Barkley said that Perk couldnt guard Dwight Howard.  All you need is someone remotely as strong as him to be able to force him farther than 2 feet from the basket and it dramatically lowers his effectiveness.  At least on offense, hes still been a beast on defense, we need to make him pay for roaming around.
sure he's pretty overrated aside from the fact he's unquestionably the most dominant big man in the league...

 ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

hes the most dominant big man on the defensive end in the league.  Im sorry we dont agree, I just cant help but question the effectiveness of a guy on offense who gets all his points off of dunks.

Yeah, because everybody knows that the dunk is a shot with little to none effectiveness. He should be taking 20 ft fadeways.

lol thats not what i meant and you know it.

Orlando get their crap together tonight and is dominating us as a result.  Guess they can't shoot 38% every game.

Those of you who seek to elevate Rondo's game to that of the truly great PGs in this league are seeing tonight why you're wrong.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Why did Rondo decide that in this series the teardrop would become his shot of choice?

Because Howard is waiting under the basket to block his lay-ups.

Rondo must start taking those 15 jumpers, hit or miss. He can't allow Anthony Johnson to play that kind of defence on him - 10 ft away and doubling everyone inside the lane as soon as Rondo passes the ball. Our half-court offence is putrid because of that, just no spacing whatsoever. The only thing decent were House curlings and a few rolls from the bigs (especially Davis catching from Marbury, but unfortunately he blew 2 wide open lay-ups).

People need to start paying attention to Anthony Johnson when Rondo releases the ball. He's immediately doubling Pierce, Ray Allen or the post.

Players have to adjust shots when Howard is allowed to goal tend.

people need to stop blaming Rondo. He can't do it alone. Ray can't buy a shot. Paul is missing in action. KG is hurt.
