All I can hope for is the Celtics play like they did in the 4th all the time.  Stop waiting til your down to turn it on.  Don't turn into the post championship Pistons.

Sorry that's a foul, he's in the circle.
And he's moving. And it was as much a foul as the two phantom calls on Davis.

ive never seen a team kill its own runs, like we have tonight.

how many empty trips in the 4th? 7? 8?

well i was referring more to us building up some momentum then killing it with a bonehead turnover, but yeah, we played great defense and didnt cash in either.

Could we have broken our own record tonight??  Greatest comeback in playoff history?

you aren't going to get a chest bump foul called like that in the 4th quarter for the same reason rondo doesn't get the flagrant call against miller in the chicago series.

i hate when boston loses games in the first half....the lack of being able to capitalize in the 4th was the dagger...too many empty trips ....need to regroup and play strong in the first half of game 2....

I we played like crap, even during our comeback we played stupid basketball.

I am not impressed with Orlando, they are not mentally tough enough to challenge the Cavs or the Lakers.

Orlando does not have the killer instinct to put teams away, and we made it very easy for them to put us away in Game 1.

Yeah, I still have some hope for this series only because we managed to cut it down to within 10 towards the end.  Still highly unlikely though, but I think we can at least extend it to 6 or 7 games at least.

I still think if we had been blown out it would have been a different story.

We saw the way this Magic team can break down, and we're going to take advantage of that in the future, for sure.

The best player on the defending World Champions should get that call in the 4th quarter.  Kobe and LeBron would've.

I don't see a difference between that noncall on Howard and Big Baby's foul on Anthony Johnson at the end of the first half. Both times, the ball handler took it into the chest of the defender, but both different results. The NBA, where inconsistent officiating happens..

The thing is, it wasn't just a chest bump foul, Howard was clearly in the restricted area.

It's a moral victory because we figured out the formula. Now it's up to Doc to start game two off with it.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.
