Considering we played like some cow dung, and still somehow had a chance to win the game...I guess there's some positives to take out of this, right?
God bless and good night!

Rondo with a double double (points & rebounds).

... and 7 turnovers, with 2-for-12 shooting.  Rondo played a pretty poor mental game today.

rondo pushes and attacks and plays fearless boston wins..it is that simple...he stopped playing like that after he fouled miller hard in game 5

I agree, that's all there is to it, if Rondo attacks intelligently, we win, if he hides, we lose

Another double-double for Rondo. Yippee.

Further proof of how absolutely meaningless that statistic is, since it fails in total to measure his complete lack of focus and effort in the first half - and at key spots in the fourth quarter.

I don't know what's going on with him, but if he doesn't pick it up, this season is in real trouble.

I'd love to have him in a film room tomorrow. I'd wear him out.

The C's showed great character after falling down 28 points. It was an excellent comeback and they had the chance to win this one ... they just couldn't buy a basket around that 3-6 minute mark and missed a couple of late buckets in the final minutes too.

Did you catch the note about Rondo showing up 1 hour before tip off tonight?

Yeah, but his second half was much better than the first.

You canīt read that in the boxscore if you watch 24.  ;) ;D

My feeling for game 2 is still good.

I thought coming in that the C's could steal Game 1.  Missed opportunity.  Now you have to win Game 2.

Yeah, we're doomed without "stealing game one" at home and game 2 is now a must win or the series is over, agreed

Sure did.

I don't know what the max fine is, but I'd send him home tonight with a lighter wallet before I massacred him in the film room tomorrow.

Completely unacceptable performance from Rondo tonight.

Yeah, and he started off poorly in Game 7 because he ate something that disagreed with him right before the game.  I'm not sure what's going on with him, but his head isn't where it should be.  He had 5 amazing games, and now 3 poor ones.

Not only turnovers, they were run killers too.

Once again we saw the bad Rondo. I wish this guy would pull his head out and start playing consistently within his skill set. He does so many things so well, but when he refuses to go to the basket consistently from the beginning, when he starts making passes that aren't smart, when he doesn't make a great effort to rotate out on the perimeter, he really kills our team.

That being said, we need to play defense from the start if we want to be in games. That kind of effort tonight isn't going to get us anywhere.

Hey, I was just trying to get something positive out of this game.

I donīt care about statistics, either.  ::)
