...for being explosive off the bench. Hats off to Scalabrine, he was critical in the win.

Thank you Napolean Dynamite!

Drop the Napolean and it fits Scal perfectly.

I just look at Nap Dynamite as an off beat cat who works it out somehow. Scal to me is kind off an off beat NBA player who also works it out somehow. You don't expect him to be able to do some of the things that he does...

So you mean Scalabrine Dynamite?

I've got to watch the movie again then, cause I just remember the kid as an unorthodox kind of goof who it all works out for in his own a-typical way. I do see Scal as and a-typical player. He does not look like a typical NBA player to me at all, but he gets it done...

Agreed Scal is anything but slow minded, thats' why he can play. He just doesn['t look the NBA part to me...

I'll admit that once upon a time, maybe a year or two ago, I absolutely hated Scal... But last night he was phenomonal. It's the case of a player playing much, much better on a good team... Where he looked awful when the celtics stunk 2 years ago.

very true. tp for your comment.

for us older celtic fans, it reminded me of game 5 (decisive, only best of 5 in the first round back then) vs the pacers in 1991. derek smith came off the bench with 10 first half points vs the pacers. the c's were struggling a bit (bird hit his head in this game), derek smith provided points, defense, and energy. he was mostly a defensive guy but he was a true celtic (albeit for a short time).

most "fans" act like scal cant do nuthin

i says he does will and continue to do so

i thought he was kool back in the day wit that pass to v carter to the pass he gave greald green how he held it down last season when garnett went out and last night game...he doesnt play out side of his ability..he does what he does well...how lil it may seem to most "fans"
