Official "Will KG play thread?"

I have two theories. 1)I think he dresses for this game but they dont use him until down the stretch(if needed). Then he is used very sparingly for the next round. 2) They might wait to see if they get by the magic and see if they can stay with the cavs w/o him suiting up. If its apparant that he would tip the scale in our favore, he plays limited, but important minuts. I tend to see the latter theory as more of a reality.

I'd be interested in seeing him come off the bench to back up whatever minutes Perk can't play.  The real problem right now is that once Perk goes out, we have no defensive backbone who can block shots.  If Perk could go 30-35 mpg, with KG playing the 13-18 mpg that he doesn't, the C's could get by with Scal and Baby splitting the minutes at the 4.  The thing that really kills them are the lineups of Scal and Baby at the 4/5 (or when Mikki Moore comes in).  It'd also go a long way in keeping them out of foul trouble, as Doc would have an extra player's fouls to play around with in Garnett.

it's gonna kill him if we lose this game, and he has to sit all off-season wondering what he could have done.

Now that the playoffs are over, it would be nice to find out exactly what is wrong with KG.
