Averaging a triple double for an entire playoff series?

Don't want to jinx Rondo, because it seems like he's playing out his butt right now.  I don't know how a player can go from being solid to the best player in the league overnight.  The Bulls must be a perfect matchup for him.  I figured he'd have a huge letdown last night, but once again he was beyond brilliant.

So since he's averaging 24, 10 and 10 for the series... I'm curious how many players have ever averaged a triple double for an entire playoff series.   I wonder if he can pull it off.  Lets see another 20, 10 and 10 tomorrow night (and a blowout victory, please)...

Can anyone name the players who have accomplished that?

Yeah, he was definitely a good player in his prime.  He's definitely not an all-time great, but he made a couple of all-star teams.

I think that's the most we can ask for from Rondo.

Fat once dumped 31 points, 20 assists, 16 rebounds and 6 steals on the Bulls.  I'd like to see Rondo recreate that performance tomorrow.

He was good until he turned 30 and injuries ended his career.  But really... Rondo would be lucky to ever put up the kind of numbers Fat did during those years.

He was good until he turned 30 and injuries ended his career.  But really... Rondo would be lucky to ever put up the kind of numbers Fat did during those years.   

  He could easily average 20+ points  at that age (about 5 years from now) and he's already getting 8+ assists but I wouldn't count on his averaging 9 boards a game, nor would I really want him to.

Not to take away from Fat, but I believe those Nuggets teams coached by Doug Moe were ridiculously high scoring teams, that pushed the pace. So there were more shots to get points, rebounds and assists on. Michael Adams, Lever, and Alex English all benefited offensively stats-wise from this. So while Fat Lever was a solid player, if he played for another team his stats would have most likely been reduced a lot (Think Shawn Marion going from the Suns to the Heat and Raptors).
