I'm thinking since Bird, but maybe it will end up being Cousy.  The guy is just amazing.  He does stuff that still surprises me, and he just keeps adding tricks.

Thoughts...
Yup

I'd say Bird, but in the entire league i'd say Kidd. He reminds me of him so much.

  • Rondo = Good
If you're referring (as far as the current game goes) to that no-look pass to BBD inside...that was awesome.

Actually I posted this a few minutes before that, but yeh, that's the stuff I'm talking about.  And the body control on the fast break.
Yup

Obviously, Rondo took a huge step forward this year. The first two playoff games he stepped it up and absolutely killed it.

But tonight...tonight marks the night that Rondo made The Leap. Rondo has proven to me tonight that he is a bona fide superstar.

I have nothing else to say.

After reading that Minnesota wanted Rondo in the KG deal and Danny said it was a dealbreker you just had to know that Rondo would be special. But, I never thought he would be this good. The really amazing thing is that he is still so young and we don't really know where his ceiling will be. If he continues to improve his shooting, and he will, gets a little stronger and he will, and stays injury free and that is always a big ?, he may very well move into the top 5-8 players the Celtics have ever had. That is a mighty big statement and I may be a little too tired but man, this guy is looking as if he may very well become the best pg in the league. I know Chris Pual is something else but I am not sure I would trade him for Rondo straight up right now.
