In the Playoffs they do. Ray Allen used to light it up like crazy in Seattle with 20+ shots and of course we all know what Pierce can do with those shots. I don't care what anybody says. These two and Rondo need to carry us. I wanna see the old Paul Pierce, slashing to the hoop, pull up fadeaways-all net, drawing fouls, toying with the d. I wanna see Ray Allen going to the hoop, pulling up for 3's, and hitting tough jumpers.   http://www.youtube.com/v/VUel9Ohutw8&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x234900&color2=0x4e9e00

Well, they need to get open for those shots then.  What this team doesn't need is anyone forcing bad shots.

I agree with Chris and I'll add that Ubuntu and defense are also keys to the game.

The distribution in game 2 was good. Baby needs less attempts, and by this I don't mean that he should forgo those open jumpers. Just not try to force so many shots, to get stuffed by Noah... he improved quite a bit in this regard in game 2, moving the ball tons better.

I don't think Baby forced that many bad shots.  There were a couple drives that he got stuffed on, but that was more because there was nothing else happening.

The Bulls have done a tremendous job this series of taking away the C's top options (Pierce, Allen, and House), and forcing other guys to "prove it".  So far Rondo, Davis and Perk have stepped up big time, and taken what the defense have given them.  At some point, that may run out though, and they do need to come up with ways to get Pierce shots, like they had figured out for Allen in the second half last night.

we need ball movement, we don't need Paul to feel like he needs to take his shots despite being covered well. this is what he has been doing. If Perk has the best shot he takes it, if Rondo does he takes it... this is a team not the Jordon Bulls where you just run ISO's all day for Mike and Scottie. We won last year becuase of good ball movement between good scorers not "ok Paul now its your turn, good job now Ray its your turn" just run our offense and take your shots based on the reads.

This thread is so backwards, everybody is scoring fine. Our defense is what needs to be picked up. Rondo needs to stay in front of Rose, Ray needs to do a better job on Gordon, and Baby needs to do better on Thomas. then transition defense needs to wake up.
