Man, this is what the defending NBA Champions should look like every game! The Celtics are playing a great defense and making big shots on offense, the ball is really moving, the flow is great and Ray and Steph just killed the Bulls one minute before halftime!

I love it, I find myself almost screaming in front of the game while it's 3:19 am here and my whole family is sleeping. ;D

I hope the C's get a bigger lead in the second half and keep it, a Bulls comeback is the last thing we want to see.

Woooooo-hoooooo!

Champs on top!!!!

However, I am still very nervous.  I hope that they start the 2nd half with the same focus and intensity.

Starbury is the Greatest Ever, the kid from Brooklyn is getting it done, playing championshp ball, all Starbury, Pierce is on fire, Ray is on fire, Rondo is on fire, Big B is on fire, Perk is on fire, Scals is contributing, lets get Eddie and TA going now, and big Mikki, all because of THE STAR!

I think the Bulls are making a big mistake keeping their bigs back to pressure the rebounder.  Best case, it costs us maybe 3-4 seconds of clock time.  Worst case, we dish it to Rondo quick and he's off to the races with no bigs downcourt to protect the rim.

And yeah, we've got to keep up the pressure in the 2nd - but this is a championship team, I think we're gonna do our best to step on their throats.

I want to see more of Tony... in short minute spurts, just to throw the Bulls offbalance defensively for a bit.

Celtics have control of the game but I must remind you that there is still a half of basketball to be played. Perhaps the Bulls finally let down a little bit after two unbelievable games out of them. I kinda hope they shot their wad and Boston is hitting their stride.

celtics unlike game 1 and 2 are playing smarter. Our offense is more patient with very little panic and also the defense is collapsing around the paint beautifully

Heh, Charles all week has been all about how "The Bulls are a rising team" and "I'm really looking forward to this Game 3".  Now that we're stomping em he's straight back to dumping on em.  Love it.

Rajon Rondo is this generation`s John Wayne.

A symbol for pure machismo, brave and fearless, showing a wide range of emotions without changing the look on his face.

Men want to be like him, women want to be with him.

funniest thing i've read in this thread so far!

Overall, the Celtics are playing an excellent game.  The main things they need to focus on in the second half is the watching the foul trouble on Rondo and also rebounding.  The Cs seem very lazy on rebounding this game.

Rebounding is 23-14 in favor of the Bulls.  That's not a pretty number.

Now lets adjust that number by subtracting the turnovers each team has committed.
