I'm going to defend the honor of "good Cavs fans" here. I live in Ohio and attend college at Ohio University so I'm right in the middle of this whole Cavs hoopla, and trust me it sucks. But most of the fans are reasonable although there are a few that just have no idea what a basketball is but walk around with a Lebron jersey on talking about how great he is. It's completely unexpected the respect I get wearing a Celtics jersey or shirt around campus. I think if you have a problem with Cavs fans you should realize that the negative minority will always stand out the most, but not all Cavs fans are **** bags.
I have nothing against their fans. In fact I'm happy for the state of Ohio because they really haven't had much to cheer about over the last few years (at least in professional sports). Edited. Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline., and Lebron is just so good that you just have to hate him because he's not on our team... I think there are reasonable fans wherever you go in every sport, and sadly there are also those who show how little class some people can have.
And although I haven't experienced it first hand like you have, I figured that a lot of the "Cavs" fans in Ohio don't really know squat about basketball. There team has been dormant for so long, most of them probably are bandwagoners, much like there are a ton of celtic bandwagoners after last seasons sudden success.
