Broadcasters who pander to the perceived emotional tides of America, instead of actually lookin at the guys who won something.
Like last season, the Boston Celtics were like Mike Jones.
Back then (girls) didn't want me, now Im hot they all on me.
We were the coolest kids in school. That is, until we faced anyone in the playoffs. Then ATL took us to 7, then Cleveland did too. THen we were like a leper bully who picked on younger girls and calld them stupid. Nobody gave us any respect, probably a cagey Detroit team was gonna whollop on us.
Then, after we killed detroit, everyone but Tim Legler (Who the heck is Tim Legler?!), picked the Boston Celtics to lose in 4 games to the world beater Los Angles Lakers.
Then, we beat them in 6, and Started out this season as underdogs.
So everyone out there that is employed by national news outlets that writes about basketball that is not named Tim Legler, I find you annoying. Can't wait for your next column which I will probably read then cry about on Celtics Blog.
To summarize, I don't like it when news outlets seem to take great joy in watching the best teams fail. Exhibit A: Picture a white, male, young, Celtics fan with a white or green underEdited. Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline., green or white Paul Pierce jersey on top of it, and backwards celtics hat. He's sad about something, his head is in his hands, inconsolable.
How many times have we seen that picture? I've lost count. They show it every time the Celtics lose a close game, or something bad happens. I think its the same kid from the draft lottery over and over again.
