So,  if KG is out, BBD gets boards taken away from him - due to his lack of length - LPowe can't shoot the 18ftr....so the the question is clear.  Where in the world is our 7ftr(MMoore)?  Was he hurt? It's ovbious Chicago's length bothers our front court.

I missed the first half of the game.  Did he get injured?  ???

Mikki Moore career rebounding rate is 12.6%, awful for a big. That's basically Glen Davis territory. The difference is that Moore can't defend.

That' s about it.

Factor in a shocking lack of effort on the defensive end and you've got a pretty ugly recipe on your hands.

This team flatly doesn't want to expend the energy on the defensive end that it did last year, and that will doom this playoff run in the short-term.

Not really an issue in my opinion, Chicago had 10 offensive rebounds - the exact same number as Boston.
"All I have to know is, he's my coach, and I follow his lead. He didn't have to say anything in here this week. We all knew what we had to do. He's a big part of our family, and we're like his extended family. And we did what good families do when one of their own is affected." - Teddy Bruschi

stop criticing Mikki its garbage.   He is our only chance to solve the lenght problem. You can bring up all the stats about him as a defender you want, but the bottom line is he played most of his career as the center. He didn't play his NBA career with another 7 footer out there and we have Perk

Just stating the facts. Powe is a much better defender & rebounder. Having Moore play more just results to 12 easy points for Chicago coming from 6 fouls. Just play Powe.

1. Not winning the rebounding battle will make this series a much tougher battle for us.

2. Those numbers are misleading. There were way more rebounding opportunities in the Bulls board. We allowed them to rebound 22% of their misses; we only rebounded 18% of ours.

Yes Powe is a better rebounder and defender than Mikki but he is not Mikki's height, and height can win you ballgames

Mikki was actually rebounding pretty good, but he was a huge weakness defensively.

So in case you have not figured this out yet this whole replacing Posey and Garnett by committee nonsense must is just that. Moore has been rebounding above his career numbers and can hit the 15 footer. Powe is more aggressive around the rim; but does not bother as many shots. Powe can make a difference against Lumbering bigs like "Z" and Gasol; but not against more agile players like Noah and Thomas. Thats where Moore's height can at least give us a chance.
