the other 4 starters are all playing at the same or higher level compared to last year.

Big Baby is playing at a much higher level. Eddie has been on fire. TA and Powe have played well since coming back from injury. Marbury has been getting better and better and Moore, well Mikki is a complete adventure when he's in the game...

and they're winning. I don't see how you can say they aren't playing well.

Here is another thing about KG. In the 4 games he was back he was 5-9,5-7,5-5, & 2-5 from the field and I watched the highlights of all four games, he had a few nice mid range jumpers, 2 alley oops and a few nice inside shots. IMO he was getting up and down the court ok.  Then today Doc says after 20 minutes he had to shut him down.  Well that's all we need him to play, why would he have to run around for 2 hours in practice to play 15 minutes in a game?  Honestly how this is being handled is ridiculous to me, and I've never seen anything like it before in the history of sports.  If you can't play, you can't play.  If you go out there for 2 minutes and people are like "wow he looks terrible" or has some kind of reinjuring play where people are like "wow that really looks bad" I can understand.  That didn't happen. The reality is is that KG played 4 games in 6 days in mid-March and during those games nobody was like "KG looks terrible out there, there is no way he can play this season" Instead the announcers were saying "KG in his 3rd game back going up for the rebound etc." Personally I thought he looked pretty good out there with all the injury reports and things we were hearing. I think the Celtics are acting like he has to run around for 2 hours in practice every day and he is getting ready for an 82 game season. When the reality is is that all we really need him for is 100 minutes, when he already played 60 last month, don't the C's understand that? Never seen anything like this in the history of sports where a guy comes back doesn't look horrible and then doesn't play again the rest of the season.

Also, if it was one game where he looked ok didn't get reinjured and then they were like he is done for the season, etc. that I could understand because after the game he must not have felt good.  But he played 4 consecutive games and nobody was saying he looked absolutely pathetic out there. There is No Way KG cannot give that kind of effort again in the postseason.  No Way. Its never happened before in the history of sports.

If you haven't seen anything like it in sports, than you either haven't been following sports, or you have a really short memory or attention span.

Injured players all the time have drown our recoveries like this. Look at Gilbert Arenas last year.

"There is No Way KG cannot give that kind of effort again in the postseason."

Huh? He has a problem running now. Why are you making up some convoluted logic. That is silly. The guy wants to play, is trying to play, but is unable to play. It's pretty simple.

Sorry I don't see a similiar comparison with Gilbert last year.  He got hurt in November, came back in April for 6 regular season games and played 4 in the playoffs and then the season was over.  KG isn't playing now, but it seems like their making it out to be that he has to play 25 post season games 30 minutes a game, has to be at practice early run around and sweat for 2 hours every day etc. He only has to play 100 minutes so no I do not see a similiar comparison.  10 to 15 min per game for 5 or 6 key games thats it.
