i think they knew it was serious all along and they were covering it up to sell tickets. I know it sounds like a conspiracy theory, but you have to remember at the end of the day, The NBA, and the Celtics in general, are a BUSINESS. Its definitely about the money 1st and fans 2nd.
Now that thats out of the way, I still DO think KG will play in the Playoffs. It makes sense to make teams count us out, just like last year, and have KG training and rehabbing in secret. IF he feels any better than he does now, which means even 71% and we're struggling, he will come back. Maybe they will have to limit him to every other game though. Play game 1 sit out the 2nd and play the 3rd and so forth. Obviously if he plays a game 6 and we need a game 7 to win, he WILL be out there. At least this is what Im hoping for.
Oh, one last thing before I go. We still have Paul Pierce (top 10 in NBA right now), Ray Allen (best shooter in game right now), Eddie (top 5 shooter right now), Rondo (top 5 PGs), Perkins (top 5 DEF C's), Marbury (who can explode at anytime(in a good way)), Big Baby (whos becoming a solid Offensive option), and Tony and Powe (who are two energy guys(plus Powe healthy keeps Moore from playing too much). Dont forget Scal(D-fense and 3pt option). KG will hopefully be on the bench at least, and we still have an EXTREMELY DIFFICULT building to win in. (we beat CLE without KG at home). SO lets forget about KG(easier said than done), and focus on what we do have. LETS GO C's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, sorry I've been Overdosing on Koolaid since I heard KGs news.
