So we got the Bulls in the first round.  Probably a tougher matchup than philadelphia but I really think we should be able to take care of them in 5, especially if KG is playing.  The last thing we need right now is to go 6 or 7 games in the first round with 3 grueling series ahead of us if we should make it to the finals.  I would have preferred Philly but you take what you get.   I think Greg Dickerson was right in the postgame when he said that people are giving the Bulls too much credit.  The Celtics shouldnt be the worried ones in this series.  Let's remember we are the defending NBA champions.  What do ya'll think?

I can only hope and pray Starbaby does this again.

If the bench performs at 102%, with/without KG, we'll win this championship. We have a thing for forming chemistry between new teammates pretty quickly. The bench performed extremely well tonight as well as last night. Pull another one of those, and Banner 18 is ours.  8)

With KG, Scalabrine, Leon Powe, and TA back, we're a force to be reckoned with.

I'm very confident goin into these playoffs.  I don't see this series going long which will give KG more rest.  I think we'll see Starbury make great strides and he will have a breakout game soon probably.

Aside from acquiring that ship and the on-court reunion of Starbury and KG, this is what I'm hoping for; a breakout game from Stephon Marbury. We all know he's very capable of pulling that off.  :)

How sweet would it be to see Steph just go absolutely insane in game 7 vs. Cleveland. Hell any game vs. Cleveland to give us the series.
CB Draft - New York Knicks
PG: George Hill / Nate Robinson
SG: Dwyane Wade / Gerald Henderson / Christian Eyenga
SF:  Grant Hill / Paul George / Earl Clark
PF:  Kenyon Martin / Jordan Hill / (Earl Clark)
C:   Greg Oden / Kurt Thomas / Hilton Armstong

Hah, thaanks. I was hoping one of you on this forum would like it.  ;D

And ohiocelticsfan, I totally agree. I too would like to see Starbury beast on the Crabaqueers, but maybe that's just me. Just out of curiosity; say the Celtics do make the ECF's (which they will), since you're from Ohio, I'm assuming you'll be watching some ECF games in Quickenloans? That'd be sweet if I went to a Celts' game.

Great schedule... I'm looking forward to game two.  That is going to be one great Marathon Monday.

Very winnable series. The matchup doesn't scare me.

But ... I do not like at all the level of basketball this team is playing right now, particularily the inability to muster defensive intensity and effort for any length of time. We're not playing at a championship level. In fact, we're not even close.

So there are reasons to be concerned.

This team leading up to the Cavs massacre was the hottest team in the league, winning 9 of 10. We just got Powe back and he looks good, Tony Allen too. We have at least another week before we really have to bring Garnett back and we have proven that we can beat both Orlando and Clevelan without KG, at least at home. If he is back we can, and will, advance to the Finals. Then, it's anybody's series. Time for the Truth to come out!
