Fun fact in the past 6 seasons, the first place team in the East has only made the Finals once.

Here's to making it seven.

Well, the Cs went on a 14-3 run to end the half.  Not bad -- I like to see our guys giving effort and making progress, although this game is still way out of hand right now.

I am of two minds:
(1) It would be a nice way to end the regular season (give or take a couple games) with a come from behind win in Cleveland, shattering the Cav's confidence along the way.

(2) But (1) is pretty unrealistic, and the danger is that Doc overplays all our starters in a desperate attempt to get the W.

So, I think it would be great to see the Cs come out strong in q3, but if it is still a 20 point lead or so by the beginning of the 4th, I would like to see Doc rest the starters....

I agree with you. First, I thought "sh**, a comeback will make Doc play the starters till the end of the game for a hard win" but now I think the C's have a real chance to comeback with a 3rd quarter run. But I'd rather see our starters get some rest.

And here's to the fact that that team was the Celtics!
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

if we won this game (highly unlikely) it would be the only way we could possibly ruin the cavs confidence, I mean thatd be more amazing then the comeback in the finals...

Anyways, Im as optimistic a fan as you could possibly be right now, if the celtics arent motivated to win in cleveland after this drubbing..they aint repeating
but i know these guys have pride and can win in cleveland when it matters, and I believe that until I see otherwise, in which case i would root for the cavs over the lakeers( is there anyway LA doesnt make the finals, the west has regressed dramtically)

i'm watching this on DVR so i'm behind you guys, but its the end of the 1st quarter and BBD just took the most hideous fade-away shot i've ever seen.

if this game is close why not play the starters? They can rest at Philly and Washington. If we have an opportunity to win we need to try. We need all the momentum and advantages we can get over clevland with them having home court.
