I know there happen to be A LOT of fellow rap/hip-hop fans on this site, and so i'm hoping one of you may have some answers for me regarding this year's Rock the Bells Concert Tour...

I've been to the past two concerts (Manhattan, NY and the Tweeter Center in Mansfield) and they have been unreal, me and a few buddies are all set to buy tickets to our annual concert but I'm having a lot of difficulty getting any info regarding when the tour kicks off and where it will hit.  Does anyone know when they will announce the lineup or when tickets will be made available...any significant anouncements? Typically the concert starts up in late june so i'm assuming there has to be some information by now.

Thanks in advance!

There is actually a launch party tomorrow 4/7/09 to announce the Rock the Bells lineup for this year.

http://guerillaunion.com/

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

looks really good.  I'll be buying tickets.  Nas, Common, Big Boi, Talib Kweli, the Roots, Slaughterhouse, etc etc.  I'd go see Slaughterhouse by themselves, they're basically an all-star group on their own.
do it

I assume something will be activated at 10am, but I don't really know.
The only info I have is from the Guerilla Union webpage:
http://guerillaunion.com/

And this is the link I was given for Boston tickets (which shows no way to buy tickets as I post this now):
http://www.livenation.com/edp/eventId/407658

FYI - it's now activated to buy tickets.
Make sure you choose "Rock The Bells Guerilla Union Presale" from the "select promotion" drop down menu at the top of the screen or you won't be able to buy tickets yet.

Maaaan...no Busta in Boston. I really wanted to see EPMD too. Two acts that I have never seen and one I probably never will get a chance to (EPMD).
