i think they are resting him so he doesnt have to handle unnecessary pain in games they can win without him....kg is going to have to play with the pain in the playoffs and he is just going to have to deal with it...kind of like pierce and his sprained knee

At first I thought they were milking a minor injury to get KG some extra rest before the playoffs, but this is getting serious.

I'm earily reminded of McHale's decision to give it go on an injured leg for the playoffs.

Winsomme, I don't think they did. Like I said, it seemed like Danny stopped himself short from saying that there was no tear. Just nothing wrong with the ligaments.

A scope is no big deal, so long as no microfracture surgery is involved.
I recently read a paper about scopes being essentially a placebo. I need to read some studies on that.

Well I had both my knees scoped, and after the operation they stopped hurting.  And I have 100% functionality, which I did not have before. Of course, I've still got 50% of the cartilege left.  Bone on bone is another story.  Tha's when you need microfracture.

Nah, it will be classic, like Willis Reed in 1970.  KG hobbles off the bench to lead the Celtics to a 4th quarter, come from behind win in game 7 against the Cavs. It's the stuff of legends.

Thanks for the detailed information, KR33.  TP.  I often think this board should have an official medical panel!
