Two guys that immediately come to mind are David West and Deron Williams.  I was a huge fan of both of them back in their college days and continue to follow them.  Love their games.

I judge players by their off/on court behavior/performance...my picks are:
1.)Joe Johnson-why?because i never heard anything bad about him on/off the court plus he plays the game the way i feel it should be played.
2.)James Posey-why?because JP gives 110% when he is playing sometimes,also seems to blend  with every team well without drama.
3.)Monta Ellis-why?he gives 100% each time i see him play
4.)Devin Harris-why?always liked his game even in Dallas
5.)Derik Rose-why?hes'starting to grow on me.
6.Andre Miller-why?he is a complete player(pg)

Seconded, HC.  I would have mentioned those two right off the bat also, although I feel like I went with them in other similar threads in the past, so it was time to share the love.   

Still love Big Game James.  Newfound respect for JJ last spring based on how much trouble he gave his old team in the playoffs.

Rashad McCants.  It is the most random thing, but the Wolves had gone SO long without an impact #1 pick that when they picked McCants I really wanted him to be good.  I read all his scouting reports from college, got in internet arguments over him, talked to my best friend (huge Carolina fan) about him, talked to a random NBA assistant coach about him, and just talked myself into becoming a fan.  His game has never come close to being what I had hoped, and now neither he nor KG are even ON Minnesota anymore, but I still find myself pulling for him.

Good pick. He turned out to be the second best out of the four NC players from that went into the draft that year. He's going to have a solid NBA career.

Kevin Durant.  He's just so smooth.  I play 2k9 with the Thunder so I can play with him.  He can shoot the 3, or take you off the bounce.  I just enjoy his game a lot.

I'm pretty open about the players I like and equally so with those I hate.

Wade, Arenas and Paul are probably my favorite non-C's along with Durant, Dirk, Roy and of course Big Al. Always liked Nash and a big fan of Shaq too. Did like Dwight, slowly going off him. Same with 'Melo.

I also like a few players in this rookie class, but I'll let them mature a bit before I decide.

As for players I hate, that list is easy and not that long. Kobe, Vujab*tch, Ariza, Gasol, Horry, LeBron, Blount, Varejao, Q-Rich, Alston, Bogut. Actually that's quite long, and I could add to it too.

For me, it would have to be Baron Davis & Elton Brand...

Well, Baron Davis in his NO days, and GS days, he was insane to watch, so entertaining, I hate that he is in the CLippers now with Dunlevy's controlling style, he needs to be set free!!

With Elton Brand, I LOVED the Clippers run in the playoffs in 2005 I think, such a good low post presence on both ends of the floor, when I found out that Baron was joining Elton in the Clippers, I was rapt!  But, it all fell apart, and now they both are in undesirable locations.

Besides those guys, CP3, Roy, Shaq, Wade, Big Al....
