still dont even want the 2 seed, especially if that means opening up with detroit, Id much rather see orlando have to play them...
Also, Homecourt would just put more pressure on Orlando, and nearly no pressure on us...now we will have plenty of pressure. Orlando isnt a dominant home team, they actually play better on the road. We're gonna need to win on the road to repeat, why not start in orlando?

and who are we kidding? are we really going to beat cleveland on their homecourt in the playoffs anyways?
That being said, I AM extremly proud of the celtics and how they've continued to win and show heart throughout all the adversity and injuries this season
You don't want the number two seed? That is silly. Why not have every advantage that is possible. If we meet Orlando in the second round there will be tons of pressure on both teams regardless of the seed!
As for being able to beat Cleveland. I find your lack of faith, disturbing. If Orlando can beat them in Cleveland, so can we. For all the talk about the home team winning all the time people forget Ray Allen missed two free throws that would have won the game in Cleveland last year. We can do it.
I didnt think we needed homecourt when it looked like we were on the brink of getting the 3 seed, and Im just standing by that, we can beat them no matter what, and since we're gonna have to win a series in cleveland and/or LA, why not just start in orlando?
As far as confidence about winning in cleveland....why should I be? the celtics couldnt win there last season, and the cavs are literally twice as good now, and have only lost 1 GAME THERE ALL SEASON, and that was because the lakers were coming off such a high from winning in boston, they wouldve beaten anybody. its gonna be tough.
tommorows game might just be the most useless game ever by the way...I think it would be an epic fail if we won tommorows game...we want cleveland thinking we cant win there, and really suprise them in game 1 of the ECF (if we meet)..
but we'll be playing without KG. If we win tomorrow, it might be a bigger blow to their confidence, having lost on their precious home court, without our best player.
Is KG really our clear-cut best player? I dont think so, but even if he is, hes having the worst year out of the big 3. Pau Gasol has played better then KG this season, and this celtics team had remained one of the best in the league without him. and not just that, but why do people assume he'll be healthy in the playoffs?
As far as tommorows game, obviously it would be a plus to not let them break the celtics all-time regular season home record, but ultimately it would be much sweeter to beat them there in the playoffs and break there streak then...remember that celtics team didnt lost at home in the playoffs either, so if the cavs go 40-1 at home, and then lose in the playoffs - who cares.
