ya i think the celts know the finals will go through cleveland,,,but i am sure they will be determined to make every other team go through them

As long as the Celtics are avoiding game 7s in the early rounds of the playoffs, they will be in good shape no matter where they are seeded.

If we were healthy, I feel we could catch Cleveland.

The Cavs got a tough April with games against ORL, SAS, BOS, 2x Phi, 2x Was with Arenas back and 1x Indy.

Celtics  need to get healthy and the Cavs need to go to sleep or lose James.


The Cavs are on the type of roll coaches like to see going into the playoffs.

I dont know...I dont think the celtics are that focused on it, if they did get it, fine, but if not, thats fine too....fighting for the 2nd seed just doesnt seem right and is kinda irrelevant, at this point its getting healthy and all about the playoffs...we're already gonna have to go on the road to defend our title, might as well start in orlando (that is if they can get by detroit)

and that brings up another point...why are the magic fighting for 2nd seed, when if the playoffs started today that would mean playing detroit....that just dumb...they cant beat detroit and would lose yet again if they matched up...if that happens we easily beat detroit in the 2nd round...and this whole fighting for the 2/3 seed is the most irrelevant thing ever...at this point playing phili is better than playing the very experienced detroit (they would relish in an underdog first round matchup imo)

Looking at the schedules after the OKC win, C's really should close out with only one justifiable loss (at CLE). 
Miami and Atl at home should be wins as well as on the road in Phi-->expecting the return of KG and TA by then and possibly Leon. 
CHA, ATL, NJ, MIA, @CLE, @PHI, WSH

Orlando has 4 potential losses and possibly more
@MIA, TOR, CLE, @ATL, @HOU, MEM, NY, @NJ, @MIL (maybe), CHA

The #2 seed isn't a stretch for the C's.

Actually when it comes down to it, all I really want is for the C's to have a better record than the Lakers.

celtics look as if #2 in the east is correct. but it it cleveland that worries me most. if the celtics get by cleveland in the finals....or....if someone bumps off cleveland early on..... then i believe the celtics will beat who ever comes out of the west.

when healthy and focused, the celtics are a better team than either LA or SA.

I'm not sure of that. Tim Duncan doesn't look right, he wanted no part of Perkins in the post.

I'm not sure if its age, resting for the playoffs, or a bad nagging pain. But Tim Duncan needs to be great for the Spurs to make it to the Finals.
