Laid two stinkbombs tonight, SERIOUSLY PUTRID. We could see that Rivers is well aware of that. After tonite? Please, give me Tony Allen and Leon. I really am displeased with Stephon now and with all Tony's faults he does average 8 pts, off the bench compared to 2+ for Marbury. Leon is infinitely better than what's his face.

I have to admit, I thought both of these guys would help. Right now they both are pretty bad. Moore was awful tonight and what did Marbury play, 5 minutes? Looks like our bench is not going to be as strong going into the playoffs this year.

you did notice leon was first off the bench before he was hurt right?

im not sure he can play when not in uniform.

same with TA.

im not disagreeing with you, but you picked two guys in suits to fill thier minutes. IF were just picking players who arent active for the celtics, give me scal over mikki and Dwest back from clevland to play the back up point.

no question though, they sucked tonight, and have been subpar in general (i'd rate steph a D+ after tonight, had him at a C- before it due to his assit totals the last 3 games) and mikki a Z-.

I still have hope the Marbury can step it up he hadn't played in a year until he got here and has played a few really good games and others he played bad.

Moore is a player that is only useful in short minutes because of his energy and his ability to hit the outside jumper. Doc is just playing him too much and allowing his fouls to become a major issue, hopefully this is just because of the big man injuries.

Well, about Moore people just drank the kool-aid and the expectations were just too high. I'm not the bit surprised: he's shooting slightly better than expected, defending slightly worse (it's incredible how often he's out of position), but it'll eventually regress to the mean. Now, some of those threads from those days where people were giving different assessments on Moore should be bumped, just to allow us to know who to take seriously. Still, guys like Moore always have some weeks here and there where they play out of their mind, so maybe we get lucky. But I really hope we get Powe back for the playoffs.

Marbury, I was expecting him to play badly for awhile, hoping that eventually he'd be solid. Marbury was never an All-Star player, only statistically, and he wasn't even close to that in recent seasons, so solid solid and not AS was the correct expectation. I always had doubts if he'd be a better backup PG than House (especially considering how much we need another 3pt shooter in the rotation besides RA and PP) and till now he's been ridiculously bad - he can't shoot, can't defend, can't keep the ball safe, he's willing to pass the ball but he's not being very good doing it. I think there's still some reasons to have hope he can improve, but it's about time.

This isn't just rust Marbury....he's had multiple 0pt games now. I can't remember when 1 player of our *normal* rotation scored 0 pts in a game ONCE.
True Celtic = Leon Powe

Bring back the show!!!!

Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
Starbury = Orien Greene, with worse defense. ;)

hey danny...do us a favor in the offseason...sign some guys that are actually going to help and don't pass on players in the draft that can contribute right away.....revamp the bench so we aren't in this spot next season

first part i agree with, second i don't. i know miami struck gold with chamlers, but that was an amazing pull on their part. and im still not convinced if we draft him he sees the floor enough to prove his worth. he got minutes so early in miami because he had zero competition at the PG.

your not going to get many NBA ready players at the last pick in the first and second rounds. Them's the breaks of being champs.
