Giddens, Pruitt and Walker do not suck, but I always get a kick out of how people overrate the talent on the bench.
Walker has show more than the other 2, but he needs to play with guys who know their positions so that they can cover for his mistakes by rotating.

Walker can do a lot of damage on offense.

He talked a bit about Scals starting to workout for the first time too.  I'd be really surprised if Scals sees the court again this season though.

I'm not sure I could watch Scal hit the court again this year without worrying about his noggin.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is forced to retire it would be dangerous to let him come back with the risk of death. Plus it would leave a open roster space for us which we could really use right now.

Maybe the emergency roster additions are right on their own bench.  Pruitt was the best player in the D-league last year, and Giddens and Walker were the best players in the D-league this year.  Maybe they ought to put those guys in for more than two seconds and see what happens.

Pruitt, Giddens and Walker were average in D-League... and they suck in the NBA

you do know that you're not really larry bird right?
This proves it.

Suck? That's overly harsh. Walker has been fine in the limited minutes he's played. Giddens hasn't had any court time at all, and Pruitt hasn't gotten steady minutes once this year.

Sorry ladies, maybe "suck" is the wrong word to describe them.  I'll go with "irrelevant" or "bottomfeeder" or "Euroleague-bound"...

Look... Giddens doesn't play, because supposedly he's the slowest study on the team.  He averages a whooping .7 points in 6 games.

Bill Walker has shown flashes of competence and flashes of stupidity.  He's averaging a whooping 3 points.

Gabe Pruitt, the drunk driver, averages 2 points on a spectacular 30% shooting and averages as many turnovers and fouls as he does assists.

If anyone classifies as "sucking" in the NBA... it's those 3, right?... or do you guys also sit around talking about how great Sonny Weems and Cheikh Samb are playing in Denver?

And yes... they were average in D-League.  Maybe "average" is the wrong word.  Bill Walker was the 44th best player in the league this year... Giddens was in the top 30.  I'd be more impressed if I had heard of any of the players in the top 20.  Oh wait... there's Dwayne Jones.  I think he's averaging 2 points for the Bobcats.   Nice!

A truthful post like this one is very refreshing. Celticsblog is usually filled with watery posts from blind optimists.
