Marbury has 4 assists in 8 minutes.

Am liking that!!!    :D

make it 5, miami has no idea how to keep both of them out of the paint.

nice crisp passing by both rondo and steph is tearing them apart right now.

Something to take heart in. The Cs, even without all the guys, are still a basketball team. Miami without DWade? Not so much. Ditto, I imagine, the Kobes and the LeBrons, er, I mean, the Lakers and the Cavs.

The Lakers would be decent without Kobe.

The Cavs would be somewhere along the lines of a team like the Bobcats without Lebron.

Random observation:
at the end of 1, R2 has a very Ray Allen-esque line while Steph has a very Rondo-esque line.

Lebron's my easy pick for mvp for just these reasons. The Lakers would have 50 wins sans kobe. The Cavs more like 35 at the end of the year.

this lineup could be in trouble, as tommy mentioned, only one guy out there knows the defense well.

EDIT: ugh, i hate being right. least we got some rest for paul though and rajon though. 4 guys who havent played the defense and eddie= easy shots.

EDIT EDIT: tp4u ill, it had to be done to get rest, but it still stunk.

This lineup sorta makes me nervous.  We'll see how it goes.

Edit: I hate being right sometimes...

Anyone have any idea what we did to upset the basketball gods? It seems like we are playing with a bunch of toss ins.

Mikki's hustle is nice, but he's just a terrible player.

He doesn't rebound and his defense is horrible.

I'm not sure who is the better player him or scal.

Yeah, the lack of Wade goes to show two things about the Celtics.

1.) The Celtics are DEEP. Even without Ray Allen and KG and Powe and Scal and Tony, they are still putting bodies out there that are competing until the end.

2.) The Celtics are doing something that is quite remarkable. With all the adversity, the Celtics are still competing and have never just rolled over or gone through the motions. Miami without one star player can't compete. Same would hold true for Cleveland and Orlando. LA is questionable without Kobe but SA s much like Boston. One or two of their big studs could go down and they'll still bring it every night.

yeah, terrible line up. Pierce or Rondo should always be on the floor. Same goes for Perk and Davis.
