So I'm sitting here watching the first half of the Cleveland Cavs vs. Orlando Magic game and I can't help but notice that LeBron looks extremely lethargic. He has for the last couple of games for that matter. He seems to be settling for jump shots more and more and he just kinda plowed over a guy from the magic trying to get control of a ball he just lost for no reason. Maybe him not playing as much this season has his body in a funk? I don't care really it can only be good for the C's if he continues to wear down. Has anyone else noticed these things?

Yeah, he looked pretty lethargic getting all those triple doubles, scoring 51 points, then almost having another triple double the game after that. If lethargic is scoring 16 points, grabbing 6 rebounds and handing out a couple of dimes n 14 minutes, I really hope he isn't full of energy when he plays the Celtics. He might go for 100. ::)

Well, I didn't say he looked consistently off, just in the last couple of games he has had some that, no matter his stats, he's just looked worn down and made really stupid mistakes that are not at all like him. Even in this first quarter of the game he isn't really playing "his" style of game (i.e. drive the lane for some improbable finish and a phantom foul call). He is LeBron and he is going to have ridiculous games regardless of tiredness I was just pointing out that in the Month of March his games have been about 50/50 subpar and ridiculous where as throughout the earlier part of the season it was just about all ridiculous.

i see all of the cav games and as much as they say they are more than him...it all ends with him....he continues to shoot the jumper...he recently said in the paper that he was tired right now.

3/1/2009 - 26/6/11
3/2/2009 - 42/8/4
3/4/2009 - 23/8/4
3/6/2009 - 21/6/5
3/7/2009 - 14/10/12
3/10/2009 - 32/13/11
3/12/2009 - 34/10/13
3/13/2009 - 51/4/9
3/15/2009 - 19/8/10
3/17/2009 - 43/12/8

I really wouldn't consider 50% of those games subpar, now would ya?

He definently has dropped the ball this month... He really should be getting quad-doubles.  8)

This is kind of related but certainly hypothetical. If MJ and Lebron both have a full court drive against the best two defensive players around the basket who ever played, you pick, who would you give the edge to? I mean, would you think MJ is more likely to score or Lebron? This is a full court drive TO THE BASKET, not a pullup J.

You can pick any two defenders, Bill Russell and Hakeem? Whoever you pick I would go with Lebron over MJ and I have rarely said anybody over MJ in that scenario but I am syaing it now. Lebron is bigger, stronger, jumps almost the same and is just plain harder to stop when he is going to the basket! Opinions vary I am sure.

Lebron, he outweighs jordan and has more of a power game in the open court. But Jordan had a much more complete game, and thus was the much better player.

but in the limited example of a full court sprint against one guy back, you take lebron, but to win a ball game or lead a team, you take MJ everytime.

I cant help but think the cavaliers just flat out are NOT as good as their record would have you believe, I dont know but something doesnt even seem right with their record...first of all on paper they arent even very good, LeBron james and a bunch of good to mediocre role players and they dont have a great coaching staff...they have lebron james, who has more flaws in his game then any dominant player of all time..
Im pretty much getting turned off by the NBA, because no offense I cant even watch a cavs game anymore (or lakers) its a foregone conclusion and I just flat out dont see the officiating I see with the celtics, which has been above and beyond a joke this season

I did turn to TNT briefly last night at the start of the cavs game to see the cavs doing this "team photo" team introduction...I dont know but its probably the dumbest thing ive ever seen in the NBA...safe to say I quickly changed it back to some basketball i could potentially enjoy on cbs.

you didnt miss anything. I watched the last 4 minutes and overtime, and dispite the ref's best efforts the blazers kept it close, but couldnt get over the hump.

I was amazed, if you watch the replay of lebron jumping on roy's back with 3 seconds left, that it took the officating crew having a conferance to call it a shooting foul, then another to call it only 2 shots (the second conferancewasen't needed, he was clearly inside the 3 pt line). I guess when you fall for a pump fake and tackle the guy, you should probley get two shots.

Best part: lebron arguing his innocence to the ref. i mean, if you see the highlight, he blatantly gets put in the popcorn machine and slams into roy at full speed off the pump fake. What on earth could he be compaining about? it was stright up TA vs billups from last year.

i had to LOL when i saw this first post about Lebron being lethargic.  Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.?  Dude has been getting triple doubles every single night....INCLUDING last nights performance.  Um....if he is lethargic we better watch out come playoff time.

This is the main thing that worries me about playing the Cavs in the playoffs even if the C's had homecourt: the refs. The refs pretty much showed how it was going to be last time they played. Luckily the C's fought through it.
