The media has a new darling, ABynum.  Short of a "unfortunate turn of events", the hated Lakers will secure homecourt thru-out the playoffs, and was done without their starting center and new media darling.....eat your heart out Kobe.

He guaratees to be ready for the playoffs.  How concerned are you?

0% unless both teams make the finals, then i would have to devote some time to thinking about it.

The lakers are very good, AB makes them better, but i don't worry about western confrance teams until we get ready to play them.

No bothered at all. We actually match up better with Bynum in there.

My concern is with the Cavs.  Once we get past them, then I will see if Bynum has both come back, and been successfully fit back into the system, but until then, its not on my radar.

lets find a way to squeak past the magic and cavs and then we can start worrying about the lakers.

pssh... That's no fun.

Let's talk about a 3 peat.

I think we have a good chance if we get Sheed.

Agreed.  Worry about the Lakers is pretty low on my worry list right now.  My concern is with the Cs and how well they will fare against other Eastern teams.  Right now, outlook not so good... Hopefully KG is not rushed back, and hopefully Cs regain some spark (it would be great for them to start peaking right as they hit the playoffs!)

I'd rather see what happens with the Lakers at 100%.  Yes, I think Bynum makes the Lakers a much bigger challenge to beat, but I look forward to the challenge this year(if we meet in the finals).

If we are playing the Lakers in the playoffs then I am not concerned at all. That just means we were fortunate to slip past the Cavs, and the Magic, etc for that matter...

Won't matter if he is there or not. I'm glad that he will be, it will shut the people up who thought last year wasn't legit because there was no bynum. And if they are there, I hope we clinch on their floor.

I actually think (as is the case with Tracy McGrady in Houston) he is a rotation killer.  Although he's a really good player, he bogs down the lineup.  They seem to be better with one less big for some reason.  He's the slowest of the bigs they have. Ask Houston how things seem to flow better when McGrady sits.  It's weird.

If we manage to get out of the east, which I think we will, and they are the Finals opponent, I hope they are at 100%.  However, I have gone on record here before saying that LA will not make it out of the west.  So, if I'm right, this will all be a moot point anyway.
