we are really shorthanded right now, and just like this game, foul trouble could really really be a problem for the team. i know that we have 15 players on the roster but couldnt we get an exception?

If there is anyone out there who can help in the front court, absolutely.

The only reason why the team would do this is if Doc wants an extra body in practice.

Why oh why oh why do I just know that this is going to spawn a request for a 10 day contract for Antoine, just to see what he has and give him one last chance in green?

Please, I beg you guys, don't do it. Don't go there.

I wouldn't be opposed to making a Kevinn Pinkney-like signing right now. We need more bodies badly. Hell, why don't we just sign Kevinn Pinkney himself to a 10-day contract for old times' sake?  ;D

Giddens didn't play today and Walker only got 14 minutes even though he played well in that time. Lets give those guys some playing time first before signing some scrub who wouldn't know our plays.

With our three remaining 4/5's racking up fouls like pinball points, it does prompt one to contemplate going for an exception to help prevent pushing up Pierce's minutes playig him as a power forward.

I can't think of the league ever granting an exemption to allow us to sign a 16th player; could you imagine how p---ed we all would be if the NBA allowed Cleveland to do that, for example?

So the question is....   who you gonna cut to make room for a temp?

Yeah, the C's won't get an exception, and won't need one, since Rondo/Baby should be back soon and we are back to a 12 man roster.  Toronto got an exception a couple seasons ago, but they were down to 7 or 8 healthy players.  If we are that desperate for a big, you could waive Pruitt or Marbury and pick someone up.  Walker could be waived too, but I think the C's would be nervous that he wouldn't clear waivers and someone would pick him up before we could bring him back.
