I have accepted BFM's invite to be co-GM, and I can see with our standing/record that we have our work cut out for us, haha! Well, I'm still learning this fantasy stuff, so at the very least it should be fun and educational ... plus I get to do it with one of my buds, and that's always worthwhile, (also, LeBron's a pretty good piece to build on)!

And waiver priority this season goes in order of finish (e.g., draft order). Next year this will change, with the winner and runner-up having 1st and 2nd priority, respectively, and the remaining waiver order by order of finish.

Just to clarify, didn't we decide that waiver priority would remain in order of regular season finish, so that the regular season winner got 1st waiver pick?  I think this was decided to ensure that there's an incentive (other than seeding) to try to win the regular season.

I think it's only draft order that will be affected by the winner and runner-up, who will get the 20th and 19th picks, respectively.

I may have confused the two.

Draft order: league winner gets #20, runner up #19, then reverse order of finish according to record (worse teams first).

Waiver order: league winner gets #1, then order of finish based on record (better teams first).

Is this right?

Yes, I think this is correct.

Picks 15-20 should be re-ordered. I've now done so.

I'm looking to trade 2 or 3 of my 1st round picks to move up in the draft. If anyone in the top 4 is interested in dropping down a little (7th pick plus another 1st rounder) and getting 2-3 players instead of 1, shoot me an offer.

I completely screwed up the order but the point stands. So Yahoo has already culled most of last season's message board. (Maybe we should get in to the habit of beginning a new CB thread every fantasy season for easier record keeping?)

But here is one relevant posts from 2010's offseason:

I've got no problem with a lottery for the 12 non-playoff teams.  I think it's a pretty solid idea, although I think it's more of a "for fun" thing, than a huge deterrent to tanking (because the lottery hasn't really stopped "real" teams from tanking for a better percentage).  Anyway, each of the 12 owners could simply align their fortune to one of the NBA lottery teams, sort of like we do now with the bottom 5.

Haven't you answered your own question, maybe in classic "Ask Edgar" fashion? You included your pick in your trade with celtsrp33 (Make Me Some Bacon) for Rashard Lewis.

The original trade was with Rondo2287, but yeah, it was in the Rashard deal.
