It was still good to see how many of the posters around here think Rondo has a darker side hahaha.

I don't know if it is a darker side, but I believe it was Paul Pierce that said no one liked Rondo during his rookie year.

Never heard this, source?

I dont have time to track the source down, but he's right. both doc and paul are on record as saying he wasn't well liked his first year among the team, and his personality tends to come off as cocky and arrogant.

they both say its really confidence and that he's quite off the court, but it rubbed some of his teammates the wrong way before they knew him.

Anyone old enough to remember Carlton Fish (nh!) as a rookie catcher with the Red Sox?  A lot of the vets thought he was a loud mouthed, arrogant punk.  He was telling pitchers to throw what he called for and was on the vets for not hustling etc.  He might have come off as cocky and arrogant but what it was really.. a young leader that many vets didn't want  to listen to
point guard is a tough posistion, its leadership on the court no matter how you look at it, even if a pg is not the captain they are pretty much the coach on the court and the game flows through them good (rondo) or bad insert name
