TP4U! I hate the commercial so much... as a marketing major I'm going to use my knowledge in advertising to assume they made it annoying on purpose. They were probably going for a jingle  that will attract children and also rile up the nerves of adults because even though we hate the commercial, we remember it. Brand recognition is all that matters. Brilliant advertising, annoying nevertheless.

When i saw the title for this forum topic i immediately thought of the Kars 4 Kids commercial. haha its so annoying. "1-877-kars-4-kids, K-A-R-S Kars 4 Kids."

that commercial is pretty annoying.

I heard a commercial thats not annoying but just confused the heck out of me. During a spot for a Dover NH outdoor sports type store they dropped this line "Now that the election is finally over don't forget about your right to bare (bear?) arms"

I really have no idea what that means

Any radio commercial that has a car horn beep.  

It may just be me (I am sure you'll let me know), but I can't tell you how many times I have been startled by a radio commercial 'horn' resulting in me looking around quickly to see who in the world is beeping at me.  Of course, I quickly realize it's the darn radio, but it bothers me.

But then again, most folks are probably sharper than me.

A lot of gun enthusiasts are concerned Obama will pass legislature making it very difficult to acquire certain types of fire arms.  Here in Ohio there is a lot of advertising to that extent, essentially saying get your assault rifles now because in a few months we might not be able to sell them.

My guess is that's what that ad is about?  Not sure why they won't say it directly.  Maybe because NH is a much bluer state than Ohio, they aren't being overt.



Neurotic Guy I am in complete agreement.  I think those commercials are safety hazards and should be banned.  I've heard some with sirens, or even stupid radio DJs playing crashing noises unexpectedly.  That's safe.
