23 pages on a sunday?

I suppose we have lost.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

the team's stubborness to play walker or giddens in meaningful minutes throughout the season is going to hurt boston on the end. they don't have anyone who can play the wing when PP needs to rest. i find it funny that teams like the cavs, magic, heat, spurs all play their rookies good minutes....boston doesn't.

Yeah it'd been one thing if the bench had been fantastic all season but I can't imagine it'd have harmed them especially with TA missing so many games. Looks like they've wanted a vet guard all season so maybe they should worked one of the rooks instead of Pruitt into the rotation.

Play Bill Walker.

Apparently he is unplayable except in garbage time.

Not always. Sometimes Ray moves to SF with the bench like in the Denver game.

So Walker was playing meaningful minutes at SG?

I was agreeing with you. I meant apparently he's not even playable in garbage time if Ray has to take his minutes.

rondo has played 3 very poor games in a row

yup...and when he plays poorly...we suck...its very glaring to me anyways..

but its pretty much been on the team...he should be the one getting 40+ minutes, not pierce..he should be the one pushing the ball and running the offense, but hes not as much lately

but for the guy that said stuckey "destoyed rondo"
Looking at the boxscore and watching the game...you must be confused...stucky was yet again average, and rip hamilton makes a better PG then him

This is why when Marbury gets up to speed, he's going to be a huge help in future games like this.

Sorry.  Didn't read that way.

i can only pray that the cavs get the pistons somehow in the playoffs....i think detroit is a dangerous team in may

yet you think its inexcusable that we lost to them without our best defensive player?

surely they can't be that dangerous if we were supposed to blow them out.

Don't forget two of the guards with the highest shooting percentage in the NBA having simultaneously inexplicably bad nights.

this is true, TP. getting caught with it once because ray was resting, alright.

specifically GOING to marbury guarding a player 7 inches taller than him and being surprised he can't the second time?

come on doc.

i can picture that conversation now:

"hey steph, we know your still not in game shape and havent had a practice to even understand your rotations yet, but how would you like to guard a power forward in the post?"

"doc....any defense i play is based more on speed and quickness, im a point gaurd, its not on power and denying the post up...i dont think this is a good idea"

"i knew i could count on you champ!"

It boggles my mind that a guy can dish out 17 assts and have his overall performance classified as "poor".

The Celtics lost because of Rondo and Ray Allen's poor offensive games.  Just that simple.

Agreed.  And the defense wasn't good enough.

But the Pierce minutes is a bigger issue going forward.

Agreed and agreed.

I thought there were some bright spots to the game.  I thought BBD and House played well off the bench.

All in all, I wouldn't have minded the loss so much if Paul Pierce hadn't played the entire game.  Frankly, playing PP that much is asking for an injury.  It's inexcusable.

Haha. TP.
Horrible loss. Not much upside. And it's only been a week without KG.
