Dislocation of a finger does not make you a bad risk for further injury. At least not the type Pierce had.

...Are you serious? It's his strong hand, and it's his thumb. That is a pretty important finger and he could straight up break it and end up being in Tony Allen's place.

A dislocation may as well be a really big booboo, for lack of a better term. It hurts, it's not fun. Once it's gone, though, it's gone. The only way to avoid the injury risk is to never ever play Paul Pierce.

I don't know what their deal is, lately they have been so careless with the ball, which is usually a tell tale sign of a bad team, not the case here though.

Maybe they are usually so focused on D that they tend to space out on offense.  Hard to figure out why some of the "passes" we see.

I think a lot of teams have "Atlanta Hawks Syndrome", where they play us a lot harder than everyone else.
