Why all the hate for Rondo?

I've been a "ghost" on this forum for a while now, and noticed there's a lot of dislike of two of my favorite Celtics. Rondo, though inconsistent, has showed that he knows how to, how shall i put this, ball. I see in him our future, and I think he can be a starting allstar at some point in the next few years. You seem to forget that he's YOUNG, and just because he's not on the same caliber as the Truth, The Ticket, or Suga' Ray doesn't mean he's not a great player. Just thought I'd state my opinion.

I've been wondering the same thing since he was a rookie. MikeD(the biggest Rondo fan in the world) has been proven right, but not everyone realizes it yet.

I wasn't issuing a death warrant against this forum. Just from what I've seen over the last three or four months has been fairly negative.

I really don't think you'll find too many people on here having issues with Rondo.

Take a look at the "Trade Rondo" thread, the consensus was pretty one-sided in Rondo's favor.

agreed. i really feel like we're all routing for Rondo, even over Garnett and Allen. I've got a thing for the players that we're here before 07-08.

It's not a problem.  A lot of us have the same reaction to the "Rondo haters".  It's odd how anybody can not appreciate what Rondo is doing.

id say people dont "hate" on him at all.  there might be a few posters, but they are definitely the minority.

Well, I think Rondo is  GREAT...good in all catagories, great in most....One of the best point guards in the league.

Rondo is popular, but Posey is the most popular on here. He makes Rondo look like Louis XV.

Hmm...  I disagree with that.  A lot of posters miss Posey, but an equal number (or nearly so) think Ainge made the right call.  If Danny let Rondo get away, this blog would be up in arms.
